At Belvedere Community Center and Park, there will be four egg hunts grouped by age so everyone can load up on eggs and treats. Come at 10 a.m. and celebrate Easter with carnival games, a bounce house, face painting, life-sized Candyland, music, crafts and more!

April 8, 12 – 2 p.m. | Shoreline Park | $10 – $15
Enjoy finger foods and local vendors while your dog sniffs out eggs filled with tasty treats and valuable prizes. Don’t forget your camera for photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny! Dogs and children enter for free, but you can buy your ticket online in advance. Proceeds go to Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation.
April 8, 12 – 2 p.m. | Old Speedway Meadow | $10 – $15
Don’t miss a similar dog-friendly event in the city! Proceeds from San Francisco’s Wag Hotels Easter egg hunt will go to Family Dog Rescue, a local rescue for all breeds, sizes and personalities. Buy tickets in advance.

If you’re in the Peninsula, you and your furry friend can still participate in Wag Hotels Easter celebration! Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park will be filled with fun on April 8. There will be two hunts (for early risers and late starters), music performances, a photo booth, mimosa and coffee stations, lawn games, crafts and more!

Stop by Crab Cove to celebrate Easter with the whole family. The park will host five different groups from walking babies to 12-year-olds for egg hunts across the grounds. Stick around for photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, lawn games and more!

The 19th Annual Bunnies and Bonnets Parade follows Campbell’s Eggstravaganza at the community center and features marching bands, dancers, animals, community groups, local organizations and more!

Sausalito’s annual parade will march from Caledonia and Johnson Streets all the way to Dunphy Park — and that’s when the party takes off. Hunt through the park starting at 10:15 a.m., then dance to live music and participate in the Easter Bonnet Contest!

The SF Zoo is celebrating Easter all weekend with three egg hunts and thousands of candy-filled eggs. Register ahead of time because the hunts will reach capacity. Then on Easter weekend, bring your baskets and your sense of adventure!

Roaring Camp Railroads is merging Easter with the magic of railroads on Easter weekend! After riding the real 1880 Steam Train over Indian Creek Trestle and through the Santa Cruz Mountains, your kids can hunt for chocolate eggs at the top of Bear Mountain. Finally, on Easter morning, San Francisco’s Annual Union Street Easter Parade & Spring Celebration begins! One of the most unique events throughout the year, this event has everything from rollerblading butterflies and self-propelled mini-floats to garden areas, sophisticated fashions and classic cars.
Enter the Easter Bonnet Contest from 11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the judging booth on Union Street and Buchanan. Then, explore the festival with large inflatable bounce houses, kids’ rides and games, a climbing wall, a bubble jump, the Easter Bunny, costumed characters, face painting, a petting zoo, a pony ride, and musical entertainment. The parade begins at 2 p.m., but the festival will be in full swing all day!

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence made their first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979. Today, they celebrate the day with a party in the park!

On Easter Sunday, Cavallo Point is celebrating with over five hours of fun for children 12 and under (and their parents).
