Neighborhood Favorites—an award program hosted by Nextdoor—is an annual contest that gives locals a way to recognize their most-loved businesses and to recommend them to new residents, visitors and other locals. To calculate Neighborhood Favorite winners, the team at Nextdoor tallies recommendations from each business’ closest neighbors then adds in recommendations from neighbors located farther away. That means Nob Hill could show different Neighborhood Favorites than SoMa—it’s all based on where you live and what businesses your neighbors love!
For the 2017 rankings, 10,855 local Nextdoor members voted for their favorite businesses in 30 different categories, including things like Food and Drink, Pet Care and Home Services. And now that those recommendations have been tallied, we’re proud to announce McGuire Real Estate was named the #1 real estate service in multiple San Francisco neighborhoods! According to Nextdoor CEO Nirav Tolia, only 1% of businesses win this award and we’re so grateful to be one of the city’s most-loved businesses.
Thank you for voting for us, San Francisco!
