The 2,017 homes sold in Contra Costa County was a 7 percent improvement year-over-year, and also the highest Q1 sales volume total since Q1 2013.
The $873,681 average home sale here was up 9 percent year-over-year, amounting to the second-highest average sales price in market history.
Contra Costa County closed out the year in strong and steady fashion, with both its average home sales price and total sales volume up from Q4 of last year.
Following a record-setting second quarter, Alameda County’s $863,702 average home sale was still its second-highest ever.
