So Thankful for San Francisco Real Estate

As we look back at a tough real estate year, we do have so much to be thankful for. In many cities/states, you can’t give a house away. There are so many foreclosures and run-down empty homes that are decrepit and uncared for. We really do not see that in San Francisco.
Although the real estate market has gone down in San Francisco in recent years there are still many buyers out there looking to buy in San Francisco. In fact, when comparing October 2009 to October 2008, quantity of units sold are up 4.9% and prices – which had been in negative territory for the past 12 months – are flat at 0%. (Source: MLS)
Be thankful if you own in San Francisco. Even those of you who have had to short sale properties, your loss is so much less than people in other parts of our very own state of California.
