In a Neighborhood Near You: San Francisco’s Farmers Markets
Blogged on 4/29/2010 by Amy Blakeley
The Ferry Building runs the best known and respected farmers market in San Francisco, but it is just one of a dozen neighborhood farmers markets that take place both seasonally and annually throughout San Francisco.
The newest farmers market had its debut this past Wednesday April 28th in Haight Ashbury at the west end of Waller Street at Stanyan. According to my clients who live in Cole Valley, the easily walkable locale was vibrant with produce and local residents and will definitely help build a stronger community. Farmers markets are a great place to meet your neighbors!
