Buyer’s are getting creative. The new in thing in Piedmont these days seems to be buying rental property. Inventory in Piedmont is low and many frustrated buyers are contacting landlords who have their property listed as a rental on CraigsList and offering to purchase their property.

Some landlords are not willing to sell due to their personal objectives, but some are entertaining the possibility. Most owners are demanding a certain price point which may or may not fit your budget, but for buyers its an opportunity to avoid competition and sellers do not have to go through the stressful and expensive process of listing their property.

Whether or not this idea works for you it certainly is an opportunity for some to take advantage of Piedmont schools and a great family-oriented neighborhood.
