Sharon comes to McGuire Marin after having been a top producer in Marin County for several years. She was raised at Tahoe in a family of builders, architects, and real estate professionals. She studied French, economics, history and literature in Paris, graduating from the American University of Paris with a B.A. in International Affairs. She worked in international business in Paris and in marketing & advertising in San Francisco before starting her real estate career in 1989.

Sharon has a great track record with both buyers and sellers. For sellers, she helps them prepare their homes for market in order to maximize value;  ensures the property is getting the best possible exposure to potential buyers, and works hard to ensure a smooth and trouble-free transaction. 

For buyers, her knowledge of Marin is key:  the schools and other parenting resources, the microclimates and commute patterns, the nature trails and recreational opportunities.  She gives clients moving to Marin all the valuable local knowledge they need to make a sound home-buying decision. Her clients commend her professionalism, her thorough understanding of all aspects of Marin residential real estate, her problem-solving skills, and her commitment to her clients’ needs.

Sharon lives in Larkspur with her husband, a real estate lawyer.  They are the parents of a UCLA student and a Kenyon College student.   As a way of giving back to the community, Sharon initiated a popular Donation with Sale program, which has benefited the Larkspur Schools Foundation, the Marin County Bike Coalition, The Lark Theater, Safe Routes to Schools, and several other local causes. She is an avid cyclist, hiker, skier, and reader.
