The art of negotiation is a critical skill I developed as the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a company that more than tripled in size during the time I held that position. With this ability, I bring a strong background of education and experience to my current successful real estate practice.
In Chicago, I studied at the University of Illinois, Department of Urban Planning and Chicago Architecture Foundation that included training at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio.
In San Francisco, as a docent and Education Committee member with the Foundation for San Francisco’s Architectural Heritage at the Haas-Lilienthal House, I helped teach the rich legacy of the Bay Area. I enjoy representing all styles and periods of architecture, and am the only Realtor in the City that has been trained by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in the marketing and selling of historic homes.
Additionally, as a Professional Affiliate of the American Institute of Architects, I stay abreast of current issues in the design community. I am a member of an international organization called DOCOMOMO that “seeks to stimulate interest in and educate the public about Modern buildings, sites, neighborhoods and landscapes.”
My interest in foreign languages took me to the Instituto Italiano Cultura to study Italian for several years (currently a board member). Currently, I am studying French at the Alliance Francaise.
My marketing skills and enthusiasm for architecture are applied to properties ranging in design styles from the very traditional to leading-edge contemporary. I am passionate about my commitment to helping my clients acquire or sell property at prices they can afford. When representing buyers, I apply these same marketing skills in presenting The Client and The Offer.
In addition to McGuire’s full Marketing Department, I maintain my own state-of-the-art design studio where I create customized art with powerful equipment to illustrate property with accuracy and style.
