Andrea comes to McGuire with a successful and lengthy career in education and non-profit fundraising for colleges and universities, private schools and non-profits on the peninsula and in San Francisco.  As a seasoned fundraising professional her experience includes securing major gifts, strategic planning and C-level coaching. With close to 30 years of experience, she understands the need to maintain strong relationships and partnerships when working with high net-worth individuals and private foundations who are looking to contribute and invest in educational programs, health and community projects and new building and campus construction.

Andrea has successfully contributed her professional skills to a wide range of institutions and programs at the leadership level. She is comfortable and skilled at soliciting or partnering with trustees on identifying and securing commitments up to $5,000,000 from San Francisco and Silicon Valley donors. Early in her career she was the managing fundraiser for UCSF's Mission Bay Campus $210M Phase 1 and most recently helped secure the final stage fundraising for SFMOMA's new $665M facility. Clients further include The Boys and Girls Club of No. San Mateo County, the Nature Conservancy-California, Samaritan House, Aragon High School, Mid-Peninsula High School, and Windmill Preschool and Woodside Priory both in Portola Valley.

Andrea's transition into real estate comes naturally as the highest level of ethical standards are required when securing donations and the needs and goals of donors and clients always come first. And, as in real estate, what starts as a business transaction turns into a long-term, trusting relationship.

As a long-time resident of Burlingame and originally from San Francisco, Andrea has deep ties to the local community. She embraces the philosophy that successful partnerships with clients and donors are built on thoughtful, thorough communication and respect.  In real estate, she believes the best way to serve clients is to maintain deep knowledge on characteristics of neighborhoods and, as a result, engages and contributes to the communities she is serving professionally or as a volunteer. While living in San Mateo, she served as a commissioner on the city's Housing and Code Council. Living in the Easton Addition of Burlingame, she served on Rotary and as Executive Director for the Burlingame Community Education Foundation which supports the city's K-8 education for nearly 3,500 students.  Her deep understanding of the unique qualities of neighborhoods and communities all along the peninsula allows her to match clients’ financial goals, interests and family needs to the ideal community, neighborhood and home.

Andrea is a native of San Francisco, fourth generation Californian and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. She shares her home with a very furry white dog named Blue. When not entertaining with friends and family, she enjoys adventure travel.  She is especially passionate about education, conservation and animals and has directed her travels to reflect this growing interest.  When traveling or at home, she enjoys outdoor sports including skiing, cycling and hiking.
